Craft Training

Does your food craft team have the skills and knowledge to deliver the standards required?

If not then how can you support them in attaining these skills and knowledge? ISCC provide a unique culinary support service aimed at developing the full potential of your craft based team.

At ISCC we can provide a comprehensive evaluation of your food standards and identify the culinary training requirements. We will produce individual and/or group training plans and then physically delivery the training required onsite at school or at an external demonstration kitchen.

Culinary training, either for individuals or groups, includes but is not limited to:

    • Culinary Essentials: back to basics; simple fresh food, modern classics, simple salads
    • Live demonstrations: sports teas, parent teas, interactive service, breads, cakes and tray bakes
    • Counter appeal: salad bars, smoothie bars, yogurt bars, build your own bars
    • Food trends: keeping up with modern palates
    • Fine dining: fine dining for clients and guests – easy ways to impress
    • Healthy Eating: ensuring food is prepared as healthily as possible
    • Food for all seasons: making best use of seasonal produce
    • Take-away food: Sports energy specific packed lunches, packed lunches, food for breaks and tuck shops

We also offer Culinary Seminars attended by food suppliers with cookery demonstrations, practical sessions, plenary breakouts and group debates.
